About Identity Daily
Identity Daily is a weekday briefing for people who run identity and access management: IAM engineers, architects, admins and the security teams around them. Each issue is a short list of what changed, with a two-sentence summary and a link to the original source. You should be able to read the whole day in three minutes.
AI agents and other non-human identities lead every issue. They are changing faster than any other part of the field, and most identity coverage still treats them as a side topic.
How it's made
Software reads vendor blogs, security news, vulnerability databases, standards bodies and independent writers through the day. AI sorts what it finds, groups coverage of the same event, and drafts a neutral headline and summary for the most relevant stories. An editor then reads the candidates, chooses what runs, rewrites what needs it and writes the editor's take. Nothing is published without that review.
Summaries are written in our own words. Every story links to its original source, and we never republish full articles.
Neutrality policy
- We cover vendors of every size, including direct competitors of one another, by the same standard.
- Vendor news is reported plainly: what was announced and why it matters, without adjectives from the press release.
- No company pays for placement, and nothing in an issue is sponsored.
- If we ever carry sponsorship, it will sit in one clearly labelled slot, and sponsors will have no say over which stories run or how they are written.
Identity Daily is published without a personal byline, so that the work is judged on what it says rather than who wrote it.
